Lucy Mori established her independent consultancy in 2008 to work with business owners and entrepreneurs. Lucy has an informal flexible working style adapted to your pace and scale; she offers a bespoke service to work with you in your office to achieve great results.
Lucy has a unique combination of business skills: as a qualified architect with experience in small (Lynn Davis Architects, Cullum & Nightingale, Berman Guedes) and large architectural practices (Charles Correa, Chapman Taylor) but also an MBA from top Business School Insead followed by professional experience at board level in non-architectural companies (Le Bon Marche Paris, Sephora - both part of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy luxury group) .
Retail has long been a passion since her first job selling curtains in Debenhams, to designing the Oyster Bar in Harrods and the huge shopping centre at Disneyland Paris; at Le Bon Marche she was in charge of developing the first e-commerce website and as UK Country Manager for Sephora she was responsible for 10 stores selling perfume and make-up round the country with a team of nearly 200 sales assistants. in 2014 Lucy was Interim Managing Director at Makower Architects and in 2015 Interim Business Development Director for Edward Williams Architects.
Lucy was born in Oxford, studied at Cambridge University and Insead Business School; she has lived in Texas, Tokyo, Brussels, Bombay, London and Paris ... she is now based in Brussels with her Japanese husband and 2 children. She has loads of architect friends and is always dreaming up new business ideas when she is not cooking or training her fruit trees to grow along the garden walls.
